Daniels avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Daniels moves out of range as Papanastos throws a body kick.
Papanastos shoots in and drives through. Daniels sprawls well. Papanastos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daniels as he avoids it easily. Edward Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thanasis Papanastos. Daniels fails with a takedown attempt. Daniels has his takedown stuffed and Papanastos counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Papanastos misses with a two punch combination.

Papanastos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Daniels is working away from the top position though. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Edward Daniels has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thanasis Papanastos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Daniels swings wildly with an uppercut but Papanastos uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Edward Daniels. I think Papanastos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Macbeth working the ground and pound. Macbeth is staying tight to Daniels's torso, preventing him from escaping. Macbeth lands a few punches from side control. Macbeth takes a little break here. Daniels wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.#SUB2# Macbeth wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Daniels, who protects the arm well. A lull in the action here as Macbeth stalls from top position.#T1##SUB2# Macbeth tries for a kimura but Daniels is defending well. Daniels tries to escape but Macbeth is in control. Macbeth in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Macbeth is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Macbeth is working Daniels over with some ground and pound from side control. #T2# Macbeth is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Daniels will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Macbeth is putting a hurting on Daniels here, landing some big shots from side control.
