Boey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DeAngelo moves away.
DeAngelo missing with a left hand there. Boey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Boey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps DeAngelo's head backwards.#TD2#
Boey closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. DeAngelo did well to prevent Boey getting side control.
Boey wants to take a breather but DeAngelo is having none of it.
Boey throws a strike but DeAngelo avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
DeAngelo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Boey content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because DeAngelo has locked up a guillotine! DeAngelo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Boey is holding on here and DeAngelo must be using up a lot of energy. Boey has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! DeAngelo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
