Horrible takedown attempt by Rowe or perhaps it was just good defense by Esposito, which made it look bad.
Esposito shoots in looking for a takedown. Rowe tries to sprawl out of it but Esposito keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rowe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Esposito throws a sloppy head kick and Rowe moves out of range easily.
Esposito shoots for a double leg takedown but Rowe sprawls well. He's pushed Esposito's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rowe looks to land a body kick but Esposito moved away.

Rowe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Charley Rowe.

It looks like Charley Rowe has been cut.
