A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Leofwine.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jackson shoots in but Leofwine avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Taskill Leofwine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Jackson.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leofwine is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Leofwine circles away and we're back to standing.
Leofwine fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Leofwine connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jackson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leofwine defends well and Jackson ends up having to push Leofwine into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Leofwine, which made it look bad.
Jackson drops his hands momentarily. Leofwine doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Jackson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Jackson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jackson lands a nice forearm strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tate sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Jackson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jackson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Tate 's temple.

Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Watson to the mat! Watson manages to get full guard.

It looks like Porfirio Watson has been cut.
Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Watson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jackson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Watson can't hide his disappointment, as Jackson celebrates the victory.

After winning the bout, Shawn Jackson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
