Barnes pulls Alfredo in close to prevent any damage. Barnes really is a fat lump. Alfredo stopping the sweep attempt from Barnes. Barnes striking off his back but it's not causing Alfredo any problems. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alfredo lands a couple of digs. Barnes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Barnes really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Alfredo's corner is telling him to maintain position. Alfredo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kowalevitz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kowalevitz shoots for a takedown but Alfredo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alfredo tries to clinch up. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Alfredo is defending well. Kowalevitz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Alfredo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kowalevitz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Trujillo looking to slow down the pace here. Alfredo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Trujillo's efforts to push away. Alfredo scores with a nice hook to the head. Trujillo tries to throw a body punch but Alfredo avoids it by throwing Trujillo back against the cage. Alfredo lands a knee to the body.

Trujillo tries to clinch but Alfredo moves away and Alfredo counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Trujillo off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Alfredo follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Trujillo was out before he hit the floor.
