Kuei tries to kick Klugman off in order to stand up. Klugman Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Klugman just content to control the position. #SUB2# Klugman is trying to get an arm triangle but Kuei is defending well. Kuei is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Klugman has just dragged him back down to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuei is not content to let Klugman control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klugman controlling the position from side mount. Kuei is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Klugman slows the pace down. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kuei stops Klugman from passing to mount. Kuei's coaches at DK MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Kuei wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kuei uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Klugman has time to react.#CUT#It looks like Wolfhard Klugman has been cut. Kuei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Klugman circles away. Klugman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuei throws out the jab. and Klugman counters with a three punch combo that has Kuei backing up. Kuei nods at Klugman to acknowledge the strikes. Kuei dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

and Pinochet counters with a nice leg kick. Kuei moves out of range of the leg kick from Pinochet. Kuei throws a lazy right hand but Pinochet sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kuei doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pinochet counters with a straight right hand. Nice takedown defense from Pinochet. No joy for Kuei on that attempt. Pinochet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuei looks for the body kick but Pinochet saw that one coming. As Kuei backs away, Pinochet returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Kuei scores with a decent looking hook. Pinochet slips under a jab. Pinochet looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.#T1# Kuei throws a sloppy head kick and Pinochet counters with an inside leg kick. Pinochet ducks under a wild hook from Kuei. Pinochet tried to counter with a leg kick but Kuei avoided it. Kuei missing with a left hand there. Pinochet was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A little feinted left hand from Pinochet on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kuei misses with a looping right. Kuei on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pinochet. Pinochet obviously looking to wear him down.
Pinochet catches Kuei with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pinochet fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kuei on the side of the head. Kuei throws a looping overhand right but Pinochet ducks down to avoid it. Pinochet scoring well with a low kick there.

Pinochet lands a glancing blow to the side of Kuei's head. Pinochet connects with a body shot. Pinochet throws a head kick that half lands.

Pinochet dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kuei. That did some damage! Shen Kuei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pinochet looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kuei will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Yoshida connects with an inside leg kick. Yoshida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kuei manages to avoid it. Yoshida throws a body shot but no joy. Yoshida throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kuei moves away from the strike by Yoshida. Yoshida tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kuei is able to avoid easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Yoshida. Kuei does a little dance to reset his feet. Kuei sizes up Yoshida with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kuei has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kuei blocks a leg kick. Yoshida manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!#ES2# Kuei pushes Yoshida off and gets back to his feet. Kuei checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. #CUT2#It looks like Bismarck De Jager has been cut. Bismarck De Jager seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Jager throws a sloppy head kick and Kuei moves out of range easily. Kuei replies with a solid counter kick to the body but De Jager blocks it well. Kuei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
#KD2# Kuei lands a big head kick that sends De Jager tumbling to the mat! Kuei takes a step backwards and waves De Jager back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC2#De Jager is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Jager misses with a combination
and Kuei counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oh De Jager is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kuei shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. De Jager takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kuei sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! De Jager bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Kuei throws a fast counter high kick but Nagasaki manages to duck under it in time. Kuei thuds his right hand into Nagasaki's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nagasaki closes the distance looking to clinch and Kuei counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nagasaki blocks a head kick by Kuei.
Nagasaki tries to clinch up. And Kuei responds with a good body kick, but Nagasaki manages to step out the way in time. Nagasaki is looking to clinch. Nagasaki moves to clinch but Kuei breaks away and Kuei counters with a big right hand! Oh Nagasaki is in trouble here! Kuei follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Kuei and Mine are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Kuei throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Mine into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Kuei knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
