Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Bobby Green (ranked 6852 p4p, 217 weight class) and Paul Johnson (ranked 23114 p4p, 238 weight class). Johnson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Bobby Green! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 2 losses; Paul Johnson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Green clinches up against the cage. Johnson looks winded! Green gets control of Johnson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Green will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Green being controlled here, momentarily. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. #R1# Johnson shoots and misses and Ramirez counters with a left to the body. Ramirez closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT# It looks like Paul Johnson has been cut. Johnson shoots in but Ramirez avoids the takedown attempt easily. An attempted straight right counter from Ramirez misses the target. Ramirez lands with an uppercut that bounces Johnson off the cage and back into range. Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ramirez counters with a nice body shot. Hector Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Johnson. Ramirez moves into range and connects with a jab. Ramirez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnson's hands. Ramirez lands a lovely overhand right. Ramirez scores with a punch to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ramirez jabs Johnson to the body, keeping him at a distance. Johnson moves forwards but Ramirez connects with a nice, crisp jab. Johnson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ramirez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

He's pushed Johnson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ramirez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Johnson throws a hook to the side of Ramirez's head but Ramirez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ramirez throws out a powerful jab. Horrible takedown attempt by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ramirez, which made it look bad. Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ramirez connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ramirez!
