Sameer flicks out a counter leg kick but Marky steps away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Capella slaps away a takedown attempt from Sameer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Capella fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sameer wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
George Capella seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sameer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sameer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Capella sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sameer somewhat.
Sameer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
