Day throws a body shot but no joy. Day throws a looping overhand right but Sanchez ducks down to avoid it. Sanchez moves out of range as Day strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Day cracks Sanchez with a hook to the temple - Sanchez is on wobbly legs here! Day swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sanchez falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Day wins by TKO!

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB# Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Torres gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sanchez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Torres controls the pace. Torres postures up.

#R1##TD2# Todd shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sanchez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Todd slows the pace down. Todd trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Todd tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Todd has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sanchez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Todd decides to take the fight back to the feet. #TD# Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Todd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#T1# Todd manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sanchez's best efforts. Todd slips a foot under and gets full guard. Todd gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sanchez is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Todd lets go of the hold and Sanchez can pop his arm back in it's socket.

That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Sanchez has his hands clasped together around Rivera's back. He's all about the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez is looking to improve his position.
