Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Xhaka Laca (ranked 22083 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Maeda (ranked 631 p4p, 82 weight class). Maeda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Submission. Thomas Maeda is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Laca gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ferguson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Laca swats away the attempt to clinch by Ferguson.
Laca shoots in looking for a takedown. Ferguson tries to sprawl out of it but Laca keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ferguson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ferguson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Horrible takedown attempt by Laca or perhaps it was just good defense by Ferguson, which made it look bad.
