Point looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brendao takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Point swats away the attempt to clinch by Brendao. Brendao shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Point as he jumps to the side. Point throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Point swings for the body but Brendao moves out of range.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marqos Brendao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brendao fails in his attempt to clinch. Brendao drops down looking for a counter takedown but Point sprawls and moves away. Point connects with a crisp jab. Point tries to work over Brendao's front leg with a kick but Brendao checks it. Point keeps control of Brendao as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Point throws a head punch that misses. Brendao drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Point gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Brendao is working for takedown but Point is calmly controlling the position for now. Brendao jumps guard but Point turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Point takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Point working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brendao falls back against the cage and Point unloads with a barrage of strikes! Brendao is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Point screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1# Mcintyre moves out of range as Brendao throws a body kick.
Mcintyre shoots in for a takedown but Brendao shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brendao tries to counter with a clinch but Mcintyre shakes him off and moves away. Brendao fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcintyre avoids it really well and circles away.#CL# Mcintyre closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Brendao decides to pull guard. Brendao pulls Mcintyre in close to prevent any damage. Brendao wants to stand but Mcintyre is controlling the position. Brendao lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB##T1# Brendao sitting in guard, not really doing much. #SUB# Mcintyre has his foot on Brendao's thigh.
