We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bagueirau shoots in looking for a takedown but Stoichkov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bagueirau's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bagueirau shoots in for a takedown but Stoichkov shows good takedown defense. Dimitar Stoichkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sildosoves Bagueirau. Stoichkov scores with a jab. Stallone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stoichkov smiles and moves away.
Stoichkov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stallone. Stallone fails in his attempt to clinch. Stallone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stoichkov.
Stoichkov looks to land a combination but Stallone avoids it well. Stallone ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stoichkov throws an off balance right hand
#TD# and Stallone counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Stallone passes to full mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stallone controlling the position easily from mount. #T1# Stoichkov is in a horrible position here. Stallone smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Stallone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Stallone throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stoichkov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stallone passes Stoichkov's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It seemed like Stoichkov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Stoichkov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Peralta sees it coming and avoids it easily. Peralta cracks Stoichkov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Peralta misses with a takedown and Stoichkov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nigeria with a lazy takedown attempt and Stoichkov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nigeria doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stoichkov counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Agu Nigeria. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stoichkov jabs Nigeria right on the nose. Nigeria blinks but takes it well. Nigeria walks into a straight right hand from Stoichkov. This has been an exciting period of action! Nigeria shoots and misses and Stoichkov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stoichkov swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Jab, jab by Stoichkov - just one landing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
