#R1# Rasic scores with a nice right hand.
Baldo Rasic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rasic throws a body punch but Wongo moves out of range. Wongo throws the left hand but Rasic avoids the punch easily. Rasic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rasic could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rasic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wongo on the side of the head. Rasic throws a sloppy body shot
and Wongo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rasic is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wongo. Rasic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wongo throws out a counter right but Rasic avoids it with no problem. Rasic loads up on a big right hand but Wongo slips the punch. Rasic is looking to clinch but Wongo is avoiding it.
A little jabbing left from Wongo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rasic throws a body punch but Wongo moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rasic swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wongo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Rasic avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A head kick by Rasic misses and Wongo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rasic moves to clinch but Wongo breaks away and Wongo counters with a stiff right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Baldo Rasic has been cut.#T1# Wongo slips a jab from Rasic. A little jabbing left from Wongo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A head kick by Rasic misses and Wongo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rasic is breathing heavily. Wongo cracks Rasic with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rasic tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wongo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rasic is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wen Wongo!
