Riise fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Riise lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Riise with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
#TD# Ryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riise looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ryan working away.#SUB# Ryan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. You can see the frustration on Riise's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Nice is in close to Riise's body, working some short punches and elbows. Nice working some strikes from top position. Nice looking to pass the guard. Nice scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Riise is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Riise working a defensive guard but Nice manages to pass into side control anyway.
Nice cracks Riise with an elbow. That is naaassty. Nice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Riise sneaks back into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nice connects with a nice short shot to Riise's temple. Nice landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. #T1# Nice looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Riise tries to kick Nice off but Nice keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #SUB# Nice is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. Riise misses with a leg kick #TD# so Ryan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. #ES2# Riise manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Ryan swings wildly with an uppercut but Riise uses good head movement to avoid it. Ryan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Knees in the clinch landing for Riise.

Riise throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ryan blocks it with crossed arms. Ryan takes a knee right on the jaw!

Riise lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Ryan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#CL# Riise clinches. Ryan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riise slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Riise keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boy. Boy lands with a right hand. Boy throws a jab when Riise was well out of range. Riise replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Boy blocks it well. Riise misses with an attempted mid kick.
Riise ducks right into an uppercut from Boy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice combination there by Boy.

Boy lands a hook that stumbles Riise back into the cage. Boy follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Riise to the canvas! Boy pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Riise has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Riise thinks about the counter body kick. Riise cracks the inside of Bruce's front leg. Bruce swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riise lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bruce will feel that in the morning. Riise ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bruce moves away. Bruce moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Bruce blocks a head kick by Riise.
No joy there for Bruce, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Riise presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Evans on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
#BC# Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Evans. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riise trying to keep a closed guard but Lich is proving a slippery customer.
