He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Slamenkov's half guard. Slamenkov trying to hold on to Archer's head to control him but Archer postures up.
Slamenkov is refusing to be controlled, as Archer sits in half guard. Slamenkov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Archer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Archer's back!#SUB# Slamenkov is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Slamenkov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Archer doesn't escape. Archer looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. #SUB# Slamenkov has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Archer trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. #SUB# Slamenkov has got his arm under Archer's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Archer has spun round into Slamenkov's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Archer wanted to stand there but Slamenkov had control of the position. Archer won't allow Slamenkov to sweep him here. #SUB# Archer is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Slamenkov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Archer is looking to defend but Slamenkov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Archer! Slamenkov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Archer taps out and this one is all over!
