Scanlan is fighting to maintain full guard but Peralta has managed to sneak the leg through. Scanlan is refusing to be controlled, as Peralta sits in half guard. Peralta is controlling the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Manu Peralta will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Scanlan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

He's just covering up as Peralta starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Odonnell leaves Scanlan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Scanlan scores with a hook to the body. Odonnell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. #CL# Odonnell closes the distance and clinches. Odonnell wants to take the fight to the mat but Scanlan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Scanlan is looking to take this one to the mat. Houston Odonnell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connar Scanlan. Scanlan looks winded! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Odonnell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard.
