#R1# Duff misses with a hook. Bonerrs ducked under it nicely. Bonerrs could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#TD# Bonerrs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duff sprawls well initially but Bonerrs persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Duff pushes Bonerrs off looking to stand but Bonerrs dives back in and keeps control.
Bonerrs tries to stand but can't do so whilst Duff controls his leg. #SUB# Bonerrs looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Nice strikes from Bonerrs there. Bonerrs prevents Duff from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#ES2# Duff makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Nice uppercut lands for Duff. That snapped Bonerrs's head back.
#CUT2# It looks like Jim Bonerrs has been cut. Bonerrs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bonerrs seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Duff throws a hook but Bonerrs avoids it easily. Bonerrs went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duff throws a jab when Bonerrs was well out of range.#TD# Bonerrs closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Duff's guard. Bonerrs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Duff is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bonerrs is controlling him. Bonerrs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #ES2# Duff has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bonerrs has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Duff on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bonerrs is working for takedown but Duff is calmly controlling the position for now.#BC2# Duff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bonerrs tries to close the distance and clinch but Duff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bonerrs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Duff. Danny Duff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice jab there from Duff. Duff connects with a jab. Duff has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bonerrs looks up at the clock. Bad move! Duff lands a right hand from hell, dropping Bonerrs. Duff pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
