#R1# Willy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Willy wants it to stay on the feet. Willy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Am doesn't succeed with the takedown#CL# and Willy counters by moving into the clinch. Am drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Willy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Richard Willy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cheikh Am. Am drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Willy gets through Am's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#CUT# It looks like Cheikh Am has been cut. Am tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willy lands an uppercut.#ROC# Am is rocked! Willy lands a hook to the side of the head. Am is still on wobbly legs! Can Willy finish him? Willy dips a shoulder and cracks Am with a mighty uppercut! Am falls back against the cage and Willy unloads with a barrage of strikes! Am is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Willy screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1# Clark lands with a good body shot. Am takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Clark connects with a body shot that sends Am's belly button to the back. Am misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Am doesn't succeed with the takedown and Clark counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A nice combination there by Clark.
#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Clark enables Am to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Clark manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Am controls from within his opponent's guard. Am has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Clark utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Clark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Am. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Clark is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #T1# Am throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Am pushing down on Clark's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Am seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #SUB# Am is looking for a kimura here.

Am landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Am perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Clark on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Am working Clark over with strikes. #R1##TD# Am shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Am is trying to control the action in half guard but Ali is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Ali throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Ali has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ali manages to get to full guard.
Am postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ali pulls Am in to control the position. Ali preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ali controls Am momentarily but Am frees himself. Ali working a defensive guard but Am manages to pass into side control anyway.
Ali is looking for a sweep.#T1# Am working away. Am working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Ali's face as Am controls the position. Am postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ali defending well though. Am takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Ali on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Nice strikes from Am there. #SUB# Am is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He's shot a load of snot all down Am's shoulder. That is not cool. Am is looking to regain half guard here but Ali keeps moving and retains side control. Am gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Am wants to improve his position but Ali is controlling well.

Am tries to lock up and control but Ali gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ali content just to control the position here. Ali putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Am keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Cheikh Ali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Am is stalling here. Ali is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Am seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ali has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Cheikh Ali has got the better of the ground game so far. Ali is still trying to improve position. Ali takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Am softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Am lands strikes to the head. #T3##SUB# Am is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ali knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ali for a finish. Am struggling to keep hold of the position.

Ali is taking damage to the body and head. #T4# Ali has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Am.#ES2# Ali is trying to shake Am off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Am won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.#TD# Am darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Am looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Am not landing any meaningful shots this time. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Am controlling the action here. Ali taking some punishment here, with Am in his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Cheikh Am showed his dominance in that final round. Well Am has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
