#R1# Reak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dorsey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Dorsey went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. A head kick by Reak misses and Dorsey counters with a right hand to the body. Reak shoots in looking for a takedown. Dorsey tries to sprawl out of it but Reak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dorsey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Reak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dorsey swats him away and circles back towards the center. Reak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dorsey manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reak lands a body shot.

#TD# Dorsey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dorsey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Reak tries to buck Dorsey off but Dorsey is having none of it. I really don't envy Reak right now.

#TD2# Reak has clasped his hands together around Vance's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. #ES# Vance throws Reak to one side and escapes!#CL2# Reak instigates a clinch. #TD2# Reak is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vance can't fight it off and eventually Reak manages to take the fight to the floor. Vance looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#ES# The fighters are working up against the cage. Vance manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vance can't break the clinch.

Vance tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reak just stands there and leans against the cage. Reak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vance tries for a takedown but Reak manages to get underhooks.
Reak tries to break free but Vance pushes him back against the cage. Vance has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reak is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joel Vance. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reak tries to break free but Vance pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vance drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Reak gets the underhooks and prevents it.
