Floyd is staying active underneath Holguin, who seems content to just control the action from this position. An attempted straight right counter from Adams Junior misses the target. Adams Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Holguin slips under a jab. Adams Junior with the inside leg kick. Holguin defending well as Adams Junior loads up on a big left hand. Holguin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Adams Junior uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Holguin fails with the takedown. Holguin tries to clinch but Adams Junior moves out of range. Da Oxlade has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Holguin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Oxlade moves away. A big right from Holguin misses. Da Oxlade walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
