NurmaNurma scrambles back to his feet.#TD# NurmaNurma shoots in and bounces Yamato off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Yamato has momentary wrist control but NurmaNurma slips an elbow through the middle. NurmaNurma throwing strikes but missing. NurmaNurma working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. NurmaNurma with a flurry of punches that miss. Yamato keeping moving, preventing NurmaNurma from controlling successfully. NurmaNurma prevents Yamato from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. NurmaNurma works a leg free and moves into half guard. NurmaNurma is looking to advance position but Yamato won't allow it. Still in half guard, NurmaNurma seems content to control. NurmaNurma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Yamato has hold of NurmaNurma's hands but NurmaNurma slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. NurmaNurma content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. NurmaNurma sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Yamato defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. NurmaNurma passes the guard and advances to mount! A nice elbow there by NurmaNurma.#T2# A nice elbow there by NurmaNurma. NurmaNurma working away from the top, dropping strikes. NurmaNurma postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yamato looks a forlorn figure.
NurmaNurma lands a couple of good shots and Yamato has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Yamato takes a big shot to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! What can Yamato do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Yamato looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Yamato looks winded!#SUB# NurmaNurma has his arm under Yamato's chin here. Game over son! NurmaNurma squeezes tightly and Yamato is forced to tap out!
