Jorgenson's coach down at Lucky Liam's MMA Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jorgenson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Eholm throws out a loose jab but Jorgenson uses good head movement to avoid it. Jorgenson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eholm manages to avoid it. Eholm slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Eholm defending well as Jorgenson loads up on a big left hand. Jorgenson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Eholm. Jorgenson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jorgenson looks to land a left hand but Eholm moved out of range nicely. Eholm swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Eholm was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Eholm wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jorgenson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jorgenson working hard to break the clinch. Pierre wants to take the fight to the mat but Jorgenson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Jorgenson can't find room to land a body shot as Pierre controls the action.

Winthrop shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Winthrop takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Winthrop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jorgenson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Winthrop tries to clinch up letting Jorgenson counter with a right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# No luck with that takedown attempt from Ueli. Jorgenson throws out a counter right but Ueli avoids it with no problem.#TD# Ueli feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jorgenson is looking to stand back up but Ueli counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jorgenson. #REVB# Ueli is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.#SU# Ueli stands up from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ueli shoots for a takedown but Jorgenson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ueli tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jorgenson defends well and Ueli ends up having to push Jorgenson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dierk Ueli. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Ueli shoots and misses and Jorgenson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT2# It looks like Dierk Ueli has been cut.
