The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Almeida scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Almeida (4) vs (0) Garcia Almeida is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Garcia has escaped the position, nice work there. Almeida is looking to take a break and control but Garcia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Almeida content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Almeida will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Garcia holds on to Almeida's head and controls the position momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garcia is being controlled here.
