#R1# Turner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position.#TD# Harris turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Turner tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it. Harris connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Turner some visible discomfort.
Harris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. You can see the frustration on Turner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB# Harris tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harris has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Harris working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Harris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Turner tries to improve position but can't. #T1##SUB# Harris looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. #SUB# Harris has an Americana. Turner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Harris is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Harris hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Valentine Harris!
