Aorigele pushes down on Phol's head and hops out. Phol looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A jab from Aorigele misses. Phol walks into a left hand. #CUT2# It looks like Mfer Phol has been cut. Phol getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Aorigele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Aorigele missing with a left hand there. Phol was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Phol seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.#KD2# Aorigele lands a left and a right that send Phol crashing to the mat, dazed. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pinochet has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

McMann has Phol pressed against the cage, preventing Phol from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A short right hand to the side of the head by McMann. Phol lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, McMann creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Phol blocks a body shot from McMann. Phol works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
McMann is breathing heavily. Phol lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Phol lands a right hand. McMann throws a punch but it's blocked by Phol. A hook to the body from Phol.
Phol lands a hook that snaps the head of McMann backwards. Phol gets through McMann's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.#BC2# Phol escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#CL2# Phol drives through and clinches with McMann against the cage.

#R1# Phol takes a swing at Banda's ribcage but misses. Phol looks to land a right hand but Banda moved out of range. Phol misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Banda counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Phol throws a hook but Banda blocks it. Phol has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Phol comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Banda takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Phol throws a right hand that Banda ducks under and follows up with a left that Banda also avoids with ease. Phol lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
#CUT2# It looks like Lexington Banda has been cut. Banda could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phol lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Phol punishes Banda's body with a nice straight punch. Banda is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Phol sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Banda's defenses. It connects perfectly with Banda's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Phol walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mathews drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Phol swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mathews's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
