#R1# Castre darts in trying to clinch and Erikson counters with a left to the body. Erikson getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Castre takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Erikson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Erikson throws out a loose jab but Castre uses good head movement to avoid it. Erikson throws an overhand right that lands on Castre's shoulder, as Castre tries to avoid the shot. Castre slips under a jab from Erikson.#CL# Castre has Erikson up against the cage in a clinch.
#BC# Castre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Castre goes for a double leg but Erikson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Erikson continues to drive forward. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erikson with a hook. Castre fails with the takedown.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Erikson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. #T1# Erikson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Castre.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atreus Castre. That's going to take a lot out of him. Erikson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Castre up against the cage. Castre stalling in the clinch but Erikson improves position. Castre jumps guard but Erikson stands there with Castre around his waist. Castre gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Castre is trying to pull guard but Erikson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Castre has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Erikson after a bit of a struggle. Erikson lands a right hand. Erikson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Castre backwards. Erikson lands on the inside with an uppercut. A shot in the inside from Erikson. Erikson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Castre blocks it with crossed arms. #T2##TD2# Erikson lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Erikson scoring with some ground and pound. Erikson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.#ROC2# Castre is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Erikson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Oh Castre is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Erikson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Castre covers up, he's hurt! Erikson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Erikson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Erikson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Castre is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Severus. Severus misses with a combination
and Castre counters with a nice body shot. Castre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Severus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Castre blocks a leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Severus misses. Castre tries to counter with a takedown but Severus is quick to defend against it. Castre takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Severus tries to bum rush Castre with a series of wild strikes but Castre uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Severus throws a left and a right that both miss
#CL# and Castre counters by moving into the clinch. Severus is looking to break free of the clinch but Castre has double underhooks. Severus wants to get back to striking at distance but Castre won't allow it.

It looked like Castre wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Severus attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Castre dodges the punch combination from Severus.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Severus uses from the top position. Castre has Severus pulled in close to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# Severus preventing the sweep. Severus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Severus wants to stand but Castre has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #SUB# Castre has his feet on Severus's thighs here. He's pushed Severus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Severus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
