It looked like Jernit was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Syndrome. Jernit uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Syndrome.#TD2# Syndrome shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Syndrome throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jernit works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jernit avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jernit looking to control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Syndrome slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Jernit seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Syndrome can turn it around. A short left from Jernit. Syndrome wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jernit is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Syndrome can do to turn this around? That was a close second round but I would say that Dunt Jernit will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. #R3# Jernit scores with a jab to the head.

Jernit's jab looks to have found its range, popping Syndrome under the eye. Jernit jabs Syndrome right on the nose. Syndrome blinks but takes it well. Syndrome tries for a takedown but Jernit circles away easily and Jernit counters with a right hand to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jernit scores with a jab to the body. Syndrome throws a jab but it's blocked by Jernit. A left lands for Jernit.#T1# Jernit jabs Syndrome to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jernit pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dunt Jernit! Dunt Jernit decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
