Bruce lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bruce throws a body shot but no joy.
Simon misses with a series of wild punches.
Bruce appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Simon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bruce throws a body punch but Simon moves out of range.
Bruce throws a front kick aimed at Simon's knee but Simon avoids it well.
Bruce misses the shot to the body.
Simon walks into a straight right hand from Bruce.
Bruce lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A lazy left from Bruce finds it's target.
Simon slips a straight right by Bruce.
Simon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Simon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bruce fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Simon is out of range.
Simon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bruce misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Simon. #T1#
Bruce connects with a nice looking jab.
Simon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Decent striking displayed by Bruce there.
Bruce clobbers Simon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. #ROC2#
Simon is rocked!
Bruce fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Oh Simon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Simon looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bruce lands a right hand from hell, dropping Simon. Bruce pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Bruce!
Robert Bruce decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Simon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Simon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD2#
Lee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Simon takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Simon pushes Lee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Simon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lee connects with a decent elbow. #ROC2#
Simon is rocked!
Simon takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Simon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lee is controlling him well.
Lee cracks Simon with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Lee immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Simon is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lee!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Lee!

Simon lands with a nice body punch.
Simon tries to close the distance and clinch but Motts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Motts is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.#TD2#
Motts scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Motts with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Motts working Simon over with strikes.
Simon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Motts on the ground.
Simon wants to control but Motts is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Motts looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Motts slips a nice elbow through Simon's hands, connecting with Simon's forehead.
Motts lands with a punch from half guard.
Motts content to control rather than advance.
Motts trying to mount his opponent but Simon defends it.
Motts controlling the pace. #T1#
Motts drops an elbow to the side of Simon's head.
Motts has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Simon tries to roll over but Motts keeps him under control.
Motts seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Motts looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Simon is trying to get back to full guard.
Motts passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Simon!

The referee warns Simon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head. #SUB2#
Motts working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Simon turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Motts off and cradles Simon's limp body as Motts celebrates with his corner.
