#R1# Whittaker scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Whittaker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Conda is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Whittaker wants to land a leg kick but Conda is out of range. Whittaker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice body punch from Whittaker. Whittaker throws a leg kick that misses. Whittaker just misses with a punch to the body.
#CL# Whittaker closes the distance and clinches. Conda should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#TD2# Conda ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Conda no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. #SUB2# Conda has his foot on Whittaker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Whittaker works his way back into a safe position though. Conda keeping moving, preventing Whittaker from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conda looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Whittaker trying to control but Conda is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Whittaker is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Conda has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Whittaker is looking to defend but Conda has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Whittaker! Conda pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Whittaker taps out and this one is all over!
