#R1# Kemp keeps the fight on the outside. Kemp swats away the attempt to clinch by Ortiz. Kemp is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ortiz. Kemp fails to land the takedown. Kemp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ortiz sprawls well. Ortiz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kemp gets slowly back to his feet. Ortiz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kemp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ortiz lands with a nice body punch. #TD2# Ortiz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. #R1##TD2# Kemp gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacFly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kemp swivels though and keeps the full guard. MacFly trying to control but Kemp is working from the bottom. #SUB# Kemp looking for a guillotine here but MacFly defends easily.
Kemp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kemp trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. #SUB# Kemp throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! MacFly escapes and throws Kemp's legs to the side, diving into side control! Kemp is looking to regain half guard here but MacFly keeps moving and retains side control. Kemp has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kemp tries to strike but it doesn't land. MacFly prevents Kemp from escaping the position. #R1# Muto loads up on a big right hand but Kemp slips the punch. Muto looks to throw the jab but Kemp is out of range. Kemp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kemp is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Muto. Muto uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kemp has time to react. Kemp blocks a jab. Kemp wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Muto lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Masa Muto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Muto. No joy for Kemp on that attempt. Muto jabs Kemp right on the nose. Kemp blinks but takes it well. Muto throws a body punch but Kemp moves out of range. Kemp wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Muto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kemp moves away. Kemp tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Muto manages to circle out of the way. Kemp doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Kemp working the head and body with strikes. Kemp takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kemp lands with a punch from half guard. #SUB# Kemp in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Werner tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kemp!

#R1# Kemp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Watne but Watne pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kemp on the wrong end of a nice jab. Watne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#ROC2# Kemp is rocked! Are you kidding me?! Watne ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Kemp clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Kemp fails with a takedown attempt. #TD# Kemp fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rigondeaux to the ground. Kemp is now in Rigondeaux's guard. Kemp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rigondeaux controls Kemp momentarily but Kemp frees himself. Kemp stopping the sweep attempt from Rigondeaux. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rigondeaux working a defensive guard but Kemp manages to pass into side control anyway.
