#R1# Wright plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!#CUT2# It looks like Corey Parker has been cut. Parker keeps the fight on the outside. Wright misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Parker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright. Wright keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parker. Wright is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Parker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Wright swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wright fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wright takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker working over Wright with some ground and pound. Wright looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Wright looks winded! Parker drops an elbow to the side of Wright's head. Wright has hold of Parker's hands but Parker slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Parker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Parker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Parker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Parker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#CUT# It looks like Paul Wright has been cut. Parker lands with a punch from half guard. #CUT# That has opened up Paul Wright's cut even more. Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Parker working the head and body with strikes. Parker is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #CUT# The cut above Paul Wright's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Parker seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Parker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #CUT# Paul Wright's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

#R1# Wright shoots in for a takedown but Mcgee shows good takedown defense. Wright looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mcgee is fending him off so far but Wright persists. Nope, Mcgee circles away and we're back to standing. Mcgee went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL# Mcgee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.#TD# Mcgee gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Wright regains guard.
#SUB2# Wright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mcgee defends it easily. Mcgee is looking to work some ground and pound but Wright has wrist control. Mcgee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcgee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mcgee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Mcgee is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mcgee postures up in Wright's guard and throws a big left but Wright blocks it. Mcgee being controlled here momentarily. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Wright has a takedown stuffed. Spencer Mcgee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Wright. No joy there for Mcgee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wright shoots in but no luck this time. #TD# Mcgee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wright is looking for a sweep. Mcgee is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wright trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

#KD2# Wright lands a left and a right that send Mcgee crashing to the mat, dazed. Wright thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Mcgee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wright counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Mcgee off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Wright follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Mcgee was out before he hit the floor.
