He must have been on the weights. Cosby throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Briggs looks winded! A quick uppercut on the inside from Cosby. Briggs letting Cosby take a breather here. Briggs looking to throw knees to the head but Cosby is blocking nicely.

Cosby creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Briggs's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Briggs drops to his knees and Cosby pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Briggs wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Romero has him pressed against the cage. Briggs creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Romero's defenses. #CUT2# It looks like Amos Romero has been cut. Romero tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Briggs smiles and moves away.
Briggs tries to bum rush Romero with a series of wild strikes but Romero uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero keeps the fight on the outside. Briggs throws a leg kick which misses Romero's front leg but catches the back leg as Romero tries to avoid it. Briggs throws a combination. Romero tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Briggs scores with a head kick.

Briggs moves out of range of the strikes. Santana lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Briggs circles away quickly and effectively. Santana jabs Briggs right on the nose. Briggs blinks but takes it well.#CUT2# It looks like Ajax Briggs has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Santana throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Briggs. Briggs appears to be looking for a big counter. Santana throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Briggs throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Santana.#KD# A head kick lands from Briggs that sends Santana to the canvas. Santana smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #KD# Briggs lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Santana sprawling to the canvas. Briggs follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Santana hang on? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#ES2# Santana has one foot on Briggs's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Briggs doesn't manage to clinch there - Santana circles away.

Briggs pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Santana was done - good stoppage!
