Bee trying to control the action but Clay is working from the bottom. Bee just content to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bee is looking to take a break and control but Clay is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bee in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clay keeps working. #T1# Bee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Clay holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. #R1# Bagatov throws out a leg kick but Clay moves out of range and Bagatov only half commits. Bagatov lands a jab. Clay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A bone on bone clash there as Clay blocks the leg kick.
Bagatov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Clay on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nice body punch from Bagatov. Both fighters circling a little - Bagatov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A lazy body kick from Bagatov #TD# and Clay counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Clay is working Bagatov over with some ground and pound from side control. A control attempt from Bagatov but he's now mounted!#SUB# Clay is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bagatov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position.
