Ambrose looking to sit in guard and control but Barbee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB#
Barbee stands up over Ambrose, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barbee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ambrose tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barbee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Barbee postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ambrose in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ambrose to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Face wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ambrose's closed guard. He's half up but Ambrose has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ambrose pivots and extends the arm, Face falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ambrose! Well done that man!
