Pique is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Carney to keep the fight standing. Pique tries to pull guard but Carney forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Irving Carney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antoine Pique. Carney lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Pique. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pique tries to score a body lock takedown but Carney shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Pique jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carney walks away with a smile on his face. Pique gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Carney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Thorne thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Carney to his feet! Carney is in big trouble!#ROC2# Carney is rocked!#CL2# Thorne drives through and clinches with Carney against the cage.
Oh Carney is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#TD2# Thorne manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Carney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carney sitting in half guard, looking to land shots.
