Corz shoots in looking for a takedown but Mogensen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Corz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Corz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mogensen avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rizla Corz. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Mogensen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Corz was covering up waiting for the punch and Mogensen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Mogensen is pushing down on Corz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Corz is fighting to maintain full guard but Mogensen has managed to sneak the leg through. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barbee tries to work over Mogensen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Barbee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mogensen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barbee smiles and moves away.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fernandez keeps Mogensen at a distance using the push kick. #CL# Mogensen moves into the clinch successfully.
#BC2# Fernandez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mogensen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fernandez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fernandez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mogensen misses the shot to the body. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fernandez! But no joy. Mogensen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mogensen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fernandez avoids it really well and circles away. Mogensen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ramirez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mogensen somewhat. Ramirez is looking for a counter combo. Mogensen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mogensen tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Ramirez throws a half hearted mid kick. Ramirez throws a right and a left that both miss. Mogensen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mogensen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramirez as he jumps to the side. Mogensen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And Ramirez counters with a quick kick to the body but Mogensen blocks it.
