Smith Iii fails with the takedown.
Smith Iii closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Smith Iii pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Smith Iii shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mark Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Smith Iii.
Smith Iii looks winded!
Smith Iii is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones.
Smith Iii drops his hands for a split second and Jones immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Smith Iii face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Jones follows up with a right hand that knocks Smith Iii into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

JaVon Vasquez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
