and McStoner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lewis ducks right into an uppercut from McStoner. Lewis misses with a body shot
and McStoner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice jab there from McStoner. McStoner has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#KD2# McStoner drops Lewis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lewis looks back up at him and smiles so McStoner waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lewis misses with a shot to the body #KD2# and McStoner counters with a nice right hand that sends Lewis toppling to the canvas! Lewis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McStoner finish him?!#ROC2# Lewis is rocked! Lewis throws a right hand that misses
and McStoner rattles Lewis with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Lewis tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. McStoner dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Lewis stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Duke McStoner! Duke McStoner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
