#R1# Cook scores with a jab to the body. Pines takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cook throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# so Pines counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pines trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Pines working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#SUB# Cook throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pines distracts Cook with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#SUB# Cook is looking for a triangle but Pines pushes his legs off easily.
Pines is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cook has momentary wrist control but Pines slips an elbow through the middle. Pines scoring with punches to the head and body. Pines postures up and lands a big shot to Cook's brow. Cook is breathing heavily. Pines working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cook's head.#ROC2# Cook is rocked! Pines not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oh Cook is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Pines arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Cook's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

#R1# Cook scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Drake doesn't seem bothered though. Drake swats away the attempt to clinch by Cook. Cook wants to clinch. Cook is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cook getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Cook fails in his attempt to clinch. Drake tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drake ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cook tries to clinch but Drake moves out of range. Drake feints the counter takedown. Cook scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Drake doesn't seem bothered though. Cook throws a body shot but no joy. Cook moves to clinch but Drake breaks away #TD2# and Drake counters with a single leg into guard. Cook didn't expect that. #T1##SUB# Cook has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Drake doesn't defend quickly enough and Cook has managed to lock this one up! Can Drake escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cook on a fantastic submission victory.

Aziz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cook in his tracks. Solomon Cook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aziz scores with a sloppy right hand. Cook should have avoided that one. Cook lands a jab to Aziz's midsection. Cook throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Aziz counters with a left to the body. Cook scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Cook misses with a wild body shot. #CL# Cook takes the fight into the clinch. Cook tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Aziz smiles and moves away.
Cook misses the shot to the body. Aziz dodges the punch combination from Cook.
#T1##CL2# Aziz gets a clinch. Aziz lands with a light punch inside. Aziz misses with a hook from the clinch. Aziz taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Aziz lands with a short head shot on the inside. Aziz lands a hook to the side of the head. Aziz lands an uppercut.#ROC2# Cook is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Aziz. Oh Cook is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Aziz lands a hook that snaps the head of Cook backwards. Aziz dips a shoulder and cracks Cook with a mighty uppercut! Cook falls back against the cage and Aziz unloads with a barrage of strikes! Cook is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Aziz screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
