#CL# and Gould holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. #TD# Gould pulls guard effortlessly. #SUB# Gould had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Larso defends it easily. Larso wants to pass the guard but Gould is keeping the position. Gould wants to stand and escape but Larso is having none of it. Larso slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gould is pulling down on Larso's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Larso landing some decent shots from guard. Larso is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#T1# Larso looking to pass the guard. Larso controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Gould is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB# Gould looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#SU2# Larso stands up from guard. Let's bang! #TD2# Larso feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB# Gould looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#SUB# Gould has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Larso can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gould is breathing heavily. Larso is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Larso's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Larso pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gould is keeping the position for now. #T3##SUB# Gould throws his legs up looking for a submission but Larso uses it to pass to side control.
Larso tries to advance to mount but can't. #SUB2# Larso is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gould is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Larso working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#SU2# Larso stands up. #CL2# Larso clinches up against the cage.#BC2# Larso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#T4##TD2# Gould gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Larso is standing up over Gould. Gould looks to escape but Larso dives into side control.
#REVR# Gould is letting Larso control him for a moment. Larso working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#ROC2# Gould is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB2# Larso is working to tighten his grip on Gould's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gould has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Larso is really squeezing tight and eventually Gould passes out! Larso breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
