#R1# Hongo ducks under a wild hook from Berchales. Hongo shoots for a takedown but Berchales saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hongo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Berchales lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
#CUT# It looks like Robert Hongo has been cut. Berchales scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Berchales rushes Hongo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Hongo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Berchales piles on the pressure and Hongo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

#R1# Steve Jr scores with a decent looking hook. Berchales throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Berchales swings widly with a right hand
and Steve Jr counters with a nice uppercut. Steve Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Berchales looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Berchales misses with a right hand and Steve Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Steve Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Steve Jr connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Steve Jr fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Steve Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Berchales. Berchales swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Arturo Berchales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steve Jr jabs Berchales right on the nose. Berchales blinks but takes it well.#ROC# Berchales is rocked! Steve Jr closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Berchales out cold! Thunder moves away and avoids it. Berchales avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Berchales throws an overhand right that lands on Thunder's shoulder, as Thunder tries to avoid the shot. Thunder defending well as Berchales loads up on a big left hand. Berchales definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Berchales throws a lazy right hand but Thunder sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.#CL2# Thunder instigates a clinch. Berchales swings away with an uppercut that misses.

#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Berchales, which made it look bad. Brown rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Berchales counters with a stiff right hand. Brown slips a straight right by Berchales. Berchales jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Berchales rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've been hearing reports that Brown has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Berchales lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively. Brown swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Brown throws a hook but Berchales blocks it. Brown connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Berchales's hands. Berchales throws a hook but Brown blocks it. Nice uppercut lands for Berchales. That snapped Brown 's head back.

Berchales connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bream takes one on the chin but seems OK.
#TD# Bream shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Berchales's guard. Berchales keeping moving, preventing Bream from controlling successfully. Berchales working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bream. Bream won't allow Berchales to get back to his feet. Bream controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berchales keeping moving, preventing Bream from controlling successfully. Bream has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Berchales wants it to stay on the feet. Horn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Horn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
