#R1# Anders throws the kick towards the body but Diaz avoids it. Diaz now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Anders throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily. Anders fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Anders darts in looking for a takedown but Diaz gets double underhooks and turns Anders into the ropes. Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Diaz sizes up Anders with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Diaz throws a big shot that misses. We've been hearing reports that Anders has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Anders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ravenberg looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ravenberg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ravenberg has a closed guard, preventing Anders from standing up.
