#R1##TD# Spetzna shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dar manages to get to full guard.
Dar is trying to control the position but Spetzna postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dar is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Spetzna content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spetzna tries to free his leg and advance position but Dar is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dar pulls Spetzna in close to prevent any damage. Spetzna looking to sit in guard and control but Dar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVB##T1# Dar's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spetzna is keeping the position for now. Dar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dar tries to score with some ground and pound. Spetzna controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Spetzna is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dar in side control, just content to control the action for now. Dar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Spetzna! Dar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dar is trying to take his opponent's back.
Spetzna tries to hold on but Dar pushes him away. #T3# Spetzna is wriggling around trying to escape.
#SUB2# The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dar is working for a guillotine from mount but Spetzna frees his head quite easily.
Dar controlling from the full mount. Spetzna is looking to get to half guard. Dar trying to control but Spetzna is having none of it. Spetzna tries to get back to half guard but can't. #T4# Dar tries to control but Spetzna wriggling away. Dar fails to advance to Spetzna's back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Spetzna tries to hold on but Dar postures up. Dar controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noam Dar dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Spetzna swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD2# and Dar counters with a shoot takedown. Spetzna fights it but they end up in guard. Spetzna is trying to keep Dar in close.
Spetzna looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dar is one step ahead there. Dar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. #SUB# Spetzna looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dar has picked Spetzna up and slammed him! Spetzna can't keep hold of the triangle and Dar manages to pass to side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Dar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dar creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.#T1# Spetzna is trying to escape the position but Dar is controlling the position. Dar has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Spetzna gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Noam Dar has got the better of the ground game so far. Spetzna regains half guard. Dar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spetzna's head. #SUB2# Dar is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Spetzna is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
