#R1# Downs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
#TD# and Hatfield counters with a single leg into guard. Downs didn't expect that. Hatfield really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hatfield with a flurry of punches that miss. Hatfield throws a big right hand that misses. Hatfield lands a couple of digs. Hatfield postures up in Downs's guard and throws a big left but Downs blocks it. Hatfield content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Downs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hatfield. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Downs looking to control.

Downs is striking off his back. Hatfield thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatfield takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Downs looks like he's trying to stand up.

He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Downs is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
