#R1# Franco tries to clinch up. Perez throws a body punch but Franco moves out of range. Franco dives in and grabs Perez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perez pushes down on Franco's head and hops out. Perez swats away the attempt to clinch by Franco. Franco doesn't manage to clinch there - Perez circles away.
Perez looks to score with a jab to the body but Franco is just out of range. Franco wants to counter the offense by Perez and move into the clinch position.#TD# Perez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Franco tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perez is in Franco's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perez is in close to Franco's body, working some short punches and elbows. Perez lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
