#R1# Ghasanni shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Whitehead but Whitehead pushes him off and we're back to square one.#TD2# Ghasanni gets a takedown into half guard. Ghasanni tries to pass the half guard into mount. Whitehead knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Whitehead really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Whitehead is controlling Ghasanni's position as best he can from this difficult position. Whitehead is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitehead is doing well to control the position and prevent Ghasanni from advancing to side control. Ghasanni seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ghasanni thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T1# Whitehead controlling the position for now. Ghasanni works his foot free and advances to mount. Ghasanni punishing his opponent with strikes. Ghasanni avoids the attempt from Whitehead to control. Whitehead avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ghasanni.
Ghasanni thowing shots but they're missing. Whitehead is bucking up trying to escape but Ghasanni cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Ghasanni unloads with some shots from mount but Whitehead bucks and avoids them well.
Whitehead blocking the ground and pound. #T2# Ghasanni looking to ground and pound but Whitehead is blocking nicely. Ghasanni throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Whitehead tries to lock up and control but Ghasanni gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. #R1##CL# Ghasanni gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Ghasanni fails to pull the fight into his guard.
#BC2# Drake breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Drake drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Drake tries to stand but Ghasanni is controlling from the bottom. Drake stopping the sweep attempt from Ghasanni. Ghasanni is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Ghasanni is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Drake is trying to stand up. Ghasanni landing punches. Ghasanni wants to control the pace but Drake is squirming around nicely. #SUB# Ghasanni looking to secure an arm triangle but Drake defends it well. #T1# Drake is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ghasanni landing strikes from the mount. Ghasanni pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.#SUB# Ghasanni is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Drake is surviving well by controlling Ghasanni's body position as best he can. Drake is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drake can do anything to dispel that myth. Ghasanni with shots to the head and body - Drake looks very uncomfortable down there. Ghasanni wants to control the pace but Drake is squirming around nicely. Drake is trying to stand. Ghasanni is in the full mount, landing strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ghasanni lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#T2# Ghasanni raining down shots from the mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ghasanni raining down hammerfists from mount. Ghasanni has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ghasanni postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Drake looks a forlorn figure.
Ghasanni lands a couple of good shots and Drake has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Oooh a big shot gets through from Ghasanni. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Drake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghasanni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ghasanni lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Drake hold on?!
Drake staying busy and making it hard for Ghasanni to control. #SUB# Drake defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Ghasanni's arms. Drake is trying to stand back up. #SUB# Ghasanni has managed to slip his arm under Drake's chin. This could be all over... yep, Drake is tapping out! Submission win for Ghasanni.
