Kirk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ryan walks into a jab.
Ryan takes a swing at Kirk's ribcage but misses.
No joy there for Ryan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ryan keeps the fight on the outside.
Kirk with a nice cross.
Kirk scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kirk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ryan misses with a body kick.
Kirk fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ryan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kirk moves away.
Ryan loads up on a big right hand but Kirk slips the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kirk throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kirk tries to move into range but Ryan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ryan tries to clinch
and Kirk counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. #ROC2#
Ryan is rocked!
Ryan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oh Ryan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kirk throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Ryan crashing down! Ryan tries to stagger back to his feet but Kirk just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Ryan asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Kirk!
A relieved looking James Kirk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
