Biglad misses with a head kick.
#TD# Biglad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Biglad really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Carvarlo trying to hold on to Biglad's head to control him but Biglad postures up.
#SUB# Biglad is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Biglad scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Biglad controlling the pace. Carvarlo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Biglad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T1# Carvarlo tries to get to full guard but Biglad has control of the leg. Biglad is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Biglad is thwarting Carvarlo's attempts to control the position. Biglad stalling. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Carvarlo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
#SU# Biglad decides to stand back up. Biglad steps back and let's Carvarlo get back to his feet. Augusto Carvarlo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Biglad connects with a body shot that sends Carvarlo's belly button to the back. Carvarlo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biglad manages to avoid it.#TD# Biglad closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #SUB# Biglad is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Carvarlo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Biglad gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Carvarlo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Biglad lets go of the hold and Carvarlo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Thrower moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. No joy there for Carvarlo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#KD# Carvarlo closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Thrower crashing to the mat! Thrower uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!#CUT# It looks like Dirty Thrower has been cut.#CL2# Thrower moves into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#BC2# Thrower breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carvarlo throws a right and a left that both miss. Thrower avoids the body shot from Carvarlo.
Carvarlo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thrower counters with a two punch combo. Thrower circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carvarlo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thrower moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Augusto Carvarlo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. #R1# A looping hook to the body misses from Bongiorno. Carvarlo does a little dance to reset his feet. Carvarlo throws a hook but Bongiorno blocks it. Carvarlo scores with a jab. Bongiorno acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bongiorno digs a good hook to Carvarlo's body.
Carvarlo misses with a combination
and Bongiorno counters with a left to the body. Carvarlo sizes up Bongiorno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bongiorno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Carvarlo blocks the leg kick.
Carvarlo lands a lovely overhand right. Some wild striking there from Carvarlo.
Carvarlo moves in looking to clinch but Bongiorno pushes him off. Carvarlo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bongiorno. Bongiorno ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Carvarlo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bongiorno circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bongiorno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carvarlo was well out of range. Poor timing from Bongiorno. An attempted straight right counter from Carvarlo misses the target.#T1# A swing and a miss from Bongiorno. Bongiorno keeps the fight on the outside. Bongiorno with a body punch. A glancing blow. Anderson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.#TD2# Carvarlo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carvarlo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Carvarlo trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
Anderson forces his way into half guard.#SUB2# Carvarlo is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Anderson has latched onto it... Big trouble! Anderson pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Carvarlo is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Anderson!

#R1##TD2# Carvarlo gets caught flat footed, as Bellafontane shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bellafontane is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Carvarlo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
#SUB# Carvarlo has his foot on Bellafontane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bellafontane works his way back into a safe position though. Bellafontane makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bellafontane working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Bellafontane chips away with some ground and pound. Bellafontane landing some decent shots from guard. Bellafontane throwing strikes but missing. Bellafontane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bellafontane cracks Carvarlo with a solid left hand. Bellafontane lands a couple of digs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bellafontane's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bellafontane landing some decent shots from guard. Carvarlo is breathing heavily. Bellafontane with a nice head shot there. Bellafontane keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Carvarlo's head.#T1# Bellafontane connects with a couple of short punches.#ROC2# Carvarlo is rocked! Bellafontane arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Carvarlo's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Habana keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carvarlo. Carvarlo throws a series of punches but Habana avoids them all with ease. Carvarlo cracks Habana with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Habana lands a head kick!
Carvarlo lands with a shot to the body. #CL2# Carvarlo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Habana misses with a knee to the head. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Habana working hard to break the clinch. Habana is looking to control Carvarlo's arms but Carvarlo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Habana has his back to the ropes. Carvarlo pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Nice body punch from Habana - that landed with a thud.

Oh Habana is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Carvarlo has Habana pressed up against the ropes in a tight Thai clinch. Habana is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Carvarlo - that's hurt Habana badly! Oh, another knee lands and Habana is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Habana doesn't seem to be complaining.
