#R1# Trippa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trippa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trippa lands with a thumping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Trippa. Hall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
#CUT# It looks like Tom Hall has been cut. Trippa swings for the body but Hall moves out of range.
Hall wants to counter with a clinch but Trippa pushes him away.#CL2# Hall gets a clinch. Trippa tries to pull guard but Hall holds him up against the cage and eventually Trippa drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Hall pulls Trippa into guard.
Trippa trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom. Trippa wants to pass the guard but Hall is keeping the position. Trippa passes easily into side control. Nice work.#T1# Hall tries to bench press Trippa off him but Trippa keeps the position. Hall looks winded! Trippa in side control, just content to control the action for now. Trippa tries to score with some ground and pound. Hall controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Trippa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Trippa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working. #SUB# Trippa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Trippa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hall tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trippa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SUB# Trippa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hall has escaped the position, nice work there. #T2# Hall is not content to let Trippa control the position. #SUB# Trippa is trying to get an arm triangle but Hall is defending well. Trippa trying to control the position but Hall is working away. #SUB# Trippa is trying to get an arm triangle but Hall is defending well. #T3##SUB# Trippa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Trippa moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. #SUB# Trippa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hall is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trippa misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hall tries to buck Trippa off but Trippa is having none of it.#T4# Trippa is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hall dodges the ground and pound from Trippa. Hall is looking to regain half guard here but Trippa keeps moving and retains side control. Trippa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hall keeps working. #SUB# Trippa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hall is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trippa trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hall can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB# Trippa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hall, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Trippa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tom Hall's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2##CL2# Hall has closed the distance and engaged Trippa in a clinch.
Trippa pushes off an throws an elbow but Hall leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Trippa trying to land knees to the body.
Trippa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hall is defending well for now. Hall dodges an elbow strike from Trippa.
Hall tries to circle away but Trippa has him pinned against the cage. Trippa misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trippa is working for takedown but Hall is calmly controlling the position for now. Trippa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hall avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Trippa goes for a takedown attempt but Hall pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Trippa. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Hall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Trippa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hall can do to turn this around?#T1# Hall trying to control the position but Trippa is working away. Trippa gets back to half guard. Trippa is looking to control Hall's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trippa avoid being mounted? Trippa is holding on to half guard well. Trippa trying to control from the bottom.
Hall controlling the pace. Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trippa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Trippa wants to get back to full guard. Trippa is working hard here to advance position. Trippa moves into full guard.
#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SUB# Hall has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Trippa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hall is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Trippa pulls down on the head and he's put Hall to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1# Murphy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. #TD2# Hall scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hall trying to control the action but Murphy is working from the bottom. The ground and pound from Hall seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Murphy is trying to get back to half guard. Hall tries to move to full mount but Murphy actually manages to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Murphy's head. Murphy slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.#T1# Murphy has a closed guard, preventing Hall from standing up. Hall working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #SUB# Hall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hall throws a big right hand that misses. Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murphy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hall cracks Murphy with a solid left hand. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murphy is on top in guard.
#REVR# Hall looking for a sweep. Not yet Hall, not yet. Hall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#T2# Murphy content to stall in guard here. Hall controls Murphy momentarily but Murphy frees himself. Hall wants to stand up but Murphy is controlling him. Hall utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Murphy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hall wants to hit a switch here but Murphy passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hall there! #T3# Murphy looking to control and managing it successfully. Murphy is in the full mount, landing strikes. Murphy content just to control the position here. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.#SUB# Hall is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Murphy locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Hall is forced to tap!
