#TD# Manic gets the takedown into side control. #SUB# Manic tries for a kimura but Kuchinello is defending well. Kuchinello is trying to escape and get back to his feet.#SU# Manic decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kuchinello to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kuchinello circles away from the clinch attempt.
#TD# Manic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. #ES2# Kuchinello is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Manic presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kuchinello paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kuchinello wants to counter with a clinch but Manic pushes him away.#CL# Manic clinches up with Kuchinello and pushes him back against the cage. Kuchinello slowing the pace effectively.#BC2# Kuchinello pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#TD# Manic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuchinello's guard. Manic prevents Kuchinello from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Manic's corner is telling him to maintain position. Manic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Manic postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.#T3# Manic is pushing down on Kuchinello's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kuchinello is fighting to maintain full guard but Manic has managed to sneak the leg through.#SU# Manic decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. #TD# Manic dives in and scores a takedown into Kuchinello's guard.#ES2# Kuchinello has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Manic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Manic tries to clinch up.#CL# Manic closes the distance and pushes Kuchinello back into the cage. Kuchinello taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Manic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Manic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kuchinello tries to avoid it but Manic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kuchinello to the ground. Kuchinello escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T4# We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Horrible takedown attempt by Manic or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuchinello, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richey Manic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Manic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Manic doesn't succeed with the takedown#CL2# and Kuchinello holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Manic looking for a takedown. Kuchinello slowing the pace effectively. Manic letting Kuchinello take a breather here. Kuchinello working Manic over with knees to the body. Kuchinello putting his Muay Thai to good use. Kuchinello has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kuchinello lands a body punch in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kuchinello creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #BC2# Kuchinello pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Manic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kuchinello paws at him with a jab and circles away.#TD# Manic gets a double leg takedown into Kuchinello's guard.#SU# Manic stands up from Kuchinello's guard - Manic perhaps looking for a knockout. Manic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kuchinello counters with a series of strikes. Manic will be more careful next time no doubt. Kuchinello stuffs the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Manic moves in looking to clinch but Kuchinello pushes him off. A lazy left from Kuchinello finds it's target.#CL2# Kuchinello closes the distance and clinches. Manic jumps guard but Kuchinello stands there with Manic around his waist. Manic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kuchinello crunches a lovely knee into Manic's ribcage. Kuchinello digs a right hand underneath Manic's ribcage. Manic let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kuchinello has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.#BC2# Kuchinello pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Manic takes a head kick and keeps coming.

This has been an exciting period of action! Nice straight punches there by Kuchinello. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kuchinello. Evander Kuchinello seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kuchinello plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!#ROC2# Manic is rocked! Kuchinello lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Kuchinello might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kuchinello throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Manic's head. Oh Manic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Manic takes a kick to the side of the head. Manic wants to clinch but Kuchinello slips to the side letting Kuchinello counter with a right hand. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuchinello, as that shot connected.
#T3# Kuchinello connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Manic! He's out on his feet! Kuchinello rushes in and drops Manic with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Evander Kuchinello! After winning the bout, Evander Kuchinello thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
